No opinion here. The organization has a right to offer the service and pay people for using it. People have the right to utilize or not to utilize the service.

You don't think it is ethically wrong, paying someone to sterilize them?

If they're doing it of their own free will, why not? You pay your doctor when you get a vasectomy or hysterectomy, don't you?

Now if they were being forcibly sterilized, that would be a different story.

I'd rather think of it as saving a child from potentially being born a crack baby. What's worse a crackhead unable to bear children or the possibilty of a small child dying slowly from the crack.

No because the service is voluntary.

great, the example of a crack addict on the main page is from Pontiac, just a few minutes from here. Go Michigan. 🙂

No. The people who are going in for the procedure are doing so voluntarily. What is wrong with that? They should be able to realize the consequences of what they are doing. It is pretty clear cut when someone tells you that you won't be able to have or sire children after the procedure. Why should it matter if someone is paying them to be sterilized or not? It is an economic incentive.

haha! i am glad we are represented well!

Now that is cool. Finally, someone looking at a longer term solution. The crack addicts are happy with their cash, pro lifters are happy that there will be less abortions, less stress on the welfare system... all good.

You can't accidently get fvcked! And judging from the looks of some of these women, they had to pay to be fVcked in the first place!

I wonder if I can sign up even though I'm not a crackhead? I would love to have a vasectomy so I could have worry-free sex all the time (with my gf). Just freeze some sperm for a rainy day just in case and you're good to go!

But the Catholic Church is unhappy because all forms of birth control are evil.
