I've seen retail computers with an LCD screen type output on the case itself. I think they were used for the tv tuners. Has anyone seen an addon kit one could use to install this mod into a new tower computer.

Thanks

Note: The following applies to a lian-li pc-65 case, but you should be able to make it work for any computer

Neuroanatomist has made this page of his lian-li with a 5" LCD. The actual LCD can be gotten here or on ebay for about $90 now.

I plan on copying his work fairly soon. :) The only drawback is that I'd lose all three of my 3.5 bays and my lian-li 65 only has 4 5.25 bays, 2 of which are occupied by a dvd and cdrw, the third a lian-li temperature display, and the fourth a zip drive. If I put in the lcd I dont have room for more expansion....but if you have a tower I say go for it.

hey thanks Lucky. i had forgot about those. i'm building a rack mount case for my jukebox\comp with an all-in-wonder card. not going to have a moniter per-say just the tv it's hooked to. but now i'm thinkin' that LCD display would work perfect for when it's just playing mp3's.
