Cases that Support 3 Dual-slot PCI-E Cards

Hi Everyone,

I've tried a few searches but had no luck finding this specific information. I recently ended up with an MSI P55-GD80 mobo. There is a third PCI-E slot at the bottom of the board. I'm running SLI 8x/8x on the top two slots and was hoping to use my old 8800 GTS in the 4x slot as a dedicated PHYSX card, or failing that just use it for a third monitor (with SLI enabled, a third GPU is required for an additional monitor). I'm using an Antec P182 case, which I love, but there is no way to accommodate a dual-slot GPU at the bottom of the board because of the case design—the HDD and PSU compartment makes it physically impossible to jam another card in there. Is anyone running a configuration like this, and if so, what sort of case did you use?

Thank you,
Bill

Some of the newer Lian Li cases have 8 slots. Perhaps something like the PC-8FI, or PC-X1000. These have 8 slots plus multiple intake fans to feed three cards (assuming air cooled). Other cases are the PC-60FN and PC-7FN, but those only have single intake fans.

You probably need any decent case that puts the PSU up top rather than in the bottom. Or a full tower like the 800D.

Or u can just buy a PCI-E Riser, and tuck the card somewhere else.

They arent expensive on EBAY.
Look for PCI-E Riser...

And please no one link a Ebay link, as it violates TOS.
