I am building a file server and need a large cheap case. Looks are not a big concern since it will be stuffed in a closet.

I like the Coolermaster Stacker case but would like one for much less than that costs.

Any ideas?

Try the Antec Nine Hundred. I think it's only $70 at some places and runs extremely cool, according to reviews. It comes with a 200mm fan on top.

I guess I didn't make my point clear. I need a case that can hold alot of HDDs. The Coolermaster has 12 external 5.25" bays that can hold 4 drive cages for a maximum of 20 hard drives.

The Nine Hundred can hold 3 cages if you remove some of the stock stuff. The Aerocool Masstige, The Xion Stacker may be able to hold 3 cages too. Then if you go to places like http://www.servercase.com or http://www.buildtoorderservers.com they have cases with even more 5" bays. You can also use the case locator feature of Newegg's catalog to help you locate most (the people that write their descriptions are very inconsistent so it is hard to find ALL of anything with just one simple search - just try to find ALL of their cases that can hold extended ATX mobos with one search) of their cases that have lots of 5" bays.

you will run into quite a bit of cooling problems if you use 20 HDDs, especially if you stuff it into a closet.
