Well, it's time to build a sweet system for my girlfriend. She wants something nice, she really likes my Coolermaster ATC 210 case. I was looking around for Aluminum cases for her but I really couldn't find anything she would like. I'm looking for something that's under 150, can someone help me out? 😀
 
really? she wouldn't like one of those slick aluminum ones? maybe just a plain aluminum one with some decent lighting? some uv led fans and uv cabling would be nifty🙂 don't forget a fanbus, girls don't like computers that sound like dustbusters no?

Hmm, I'm an old lady but was a chick once.

The chieftecs on sale at googlegear or newegg (where I ordered mine) are light and stylish if a bit "old" but if she doesn't care about the old alienware look, she might like one. Don't even suggest the hello kitty look!
 
What kind of system are you building? For a nice compact system, I like this one: Enlight 76020 .
For a full-size system, perhaps one of the Ahanixen (Romeo, Audi or Platinum series).

Chieftec makes a purple case (think it's out of stock at newegg but in stock maybe at svc or googlegear, just saw it recently) that might be trendy but PINK ..

I will, I honestly do not like those Chieftec cases......had a couple, just too heavy. 😛 Man, there's just too many guy cases out there. 😀
 
If the gMono didn't have that shiny auto finish, it would be one of the plainest boxes on the planet. Even with it, it's tres plain.
. I went and looked at the InWins and they are pretty unique looking but the two mentioned above have very limited room and the one with the curved front is difficult to cool (PSU in the bottom). Both have 180w PSUs. However the V506G.250FU2D 3G looks like a better solution and you could probably pull off the gray trim pieces and paint them whatever color she would like (Testor's Candy Apple Red or Tangerine Metalflake, for example). This one has a 250W PSU.
InWin's come a long way - used to be king of the beige box.

Cow?? jeez I was implying nothing. I have the black version and from my taste (and take it for what its worth) Its a very cheap case (i got it for 5$ shiping not 15) Maybe I like the plain look. I just cant stand those cheftec, antec and there look alikes. I hate those that look like e-machine specials. I dont know if you guys even have this case but you should considor that most people that do Really like the case and think that is one of the nicest looking cases for $40. Dont cows have spots? you seeing spots before your eyes there buddy??

If you have got the money spend it. If it were me I would use if on the parts.

I'm a girl, and I like the gMono cases. I own the one in the black color though (and no windows, I hate windows).

I also like minimalistic aluminum ones, as long as they aren't in beige.

But I settled for the g-mono .... which means I like really fat girls who look like cows????

All I was saying and you can read it in my last post. Put more money into the parts not the case.

Becuase its what's in the inside that counts.
 
I did think. Perhaps you missed the sarcasm. Here, let me explain it for you:

You think that case is pretty. I think the rest of us agree--it's not. Therefore, because you like a plain-jane case (because you think it's pretty), you also like plain-jane chicks (because you prolly think they're pretty). Crsytal enough for ya?

Maybe cashman and his girlfriend could step in here to clear some things up! Cashman - what do you folks like?

Still think the purple or bronze matrix or chieftec dragon on sale at newegg are possible; 18 pounds (aluminum) and stylish if overdone for the past year or so.
