nice work...I'll have pictures of my new paint job in a few days once pics are developed (scanner only, no digital camera :() turned out really good thanks to reading through all the old posts here. wet-sanded it down until it was allllll smooth and then used rust-oleum paint (4 coats) and 4 coats of lacquer.

magerehein: Your case is lacking alot of things to make it kick ass. First of all the cables inside your case are sloppy. In order to get good airflow you need to clean up that mess and place the cables in an organized manor. Next, you do not even have not 1 case fan inside there. Your case must be running hot as hell. You have to have at least 1 80mm in the rear exhausting air over the CPU and 1 80mm in the bottom front blowing air in. This will at least give you some airflow, but I definately recommend putting in some blowholes on the side panels blowing air towards the cpu and all PCI/ISA slots. Also for looks, you should try to install a window and a neon, that would definately ice the cake.

Also if you need ideas, or help on how to install blowholes, window, etc. here is a link to Virtual Hideout. This place should help you with all your case modding problems and needs. ;)

Have fun!

mag's right, but honestly anything 50+ is kinda high.....
To get under 40c you'd almost have to go into pelts!!

I'm running a 1.1 T-Bird @ 1.3 with the forged TAISOL HS.

Idle: 38 C

Working with appz, and SETI always running, I haven't gone over 46 C at the most.

TAISOL rocks!

I would break out my little sister's dig camera but my parents crap computer doesn't have any friggin' USB ports!! My dad's gonna very reluctantly dole out the $10 or so for a USB card. My parents are pitiful. I'll post a picture as soon as either he buys that or my computer is back up and running (whichever comes first)

Go there, all the way to the bottom of the page, and it'll tell you what the max safe temp for your processor is.
Mine is 90c :D

loosbrew, there's been threads all over the place on that topic. It's impossible to run at your temp without pelts. Your processor is as cool as most people's ambient. People with higher temps usually are on a motherboard that has a bios to correct for low temps from the thermsistor.
