case with UPS implanted into it

There may be a benefit in doing this. But, the main disadvantage I see with it is that you reduce the room inside the case, which would make cooling more difficult. The UPS also adds heat. So, considering cooling of your case and everything in it, this is not a good idea.

looks like crap, prolly heats up the case a lot as well. The only plus is see is if your using it at a LAN party that doesnt allow UPS....if you covered up the front, they would never know 😛

props for the idea though...i think it would be nice is power supply manufactures started integrating UPSs into their PSUs 😀

i applaud your ingenuity and creativity. i think these guys are right in that it does look like ass but it's a cool idea.

Interesting idea. I've considered putting my water cooling, router and modem in a second case, perhaps a ups would fit as well.

I think if I was a hardcore modder i'd have atleast drilled out the Dell sticker beforehand 😀

Yeah, and as soon as the extra power draw tripped a circuit and your computer is the only one running, everyone will know who's fault it was.

I give you credit for real Brass 8alls. 0_0 First post too!

Of the two AC outlets for the UPS, "My friend told me to put a Glade Plug-In there."

That is rich, you made my afternoon a delight. Thank you very much.

That's got to be one heavy PC.

that's actually really funny, looks like hell, but if it looked good how many more ppl would be saying "awsome". Maybe if somebody got a pre-built case that had one of those it would be better recieved.

Imagine busting that thing out an an airport, and plugging in a monitor and stuff - security would come running probably. 😀

Its nice you tried something different 😀 I certanly wouldnt have the guts to do that to my pc...but thats nice work. And as far as looks go...computers down always have to look all nice"...Do we buy computers to USE THEM, or to stare at our pretty lil cases all day

Maybe they should start selling "case makeup" and "clothing for your computer". Im sure it'd be a seller 😉

If it does what you want it to do...then what it looks like is irrelivant, monitors are for looking, and cases are just cases... (no FLAMES plz, just my thoughts, as iv mentioned, i like my case to look nice too, just pointing out that it doesnt have to be)

Along those same lines, some people want their cases to be pretty. I know I'm thoroughly enjoying working on the cosmetics of my machine right now, even though I've only been worried about the function for a long time now.

It very well might be that your machine needs to run, and what it looks like is irrelevant, but that isn't the case for everyone. And they are just stating their opinion on it.
