I'm looking for a case-window guide; I have the plexiglas, and I have the hole cut. I need the molding yet; but having a guide for the whole thing would be nice too.

Ok, thanks; I guess my main question is, what the heck is molding strip and where can I get it? Some of those sites just say under materials needed, "3 foot molding strip" and nothing else. Others say for materials "case window kit." Well I'm not getting a kit; I just need this molding strip stuff.

Ok, I see that stuff, but it says, "The single-sided molding fits to the edge of your case or design, and a window is applied behind the cutout with VHB tape or sealant."
So is there more needed than just the molding? What's this "VHB tape or sealant" stuff? I though the molding just went over the case edge, then the window fit into the molding too, and that's it.

Can't speak to the $0.99 molding, but I use the double sided stuff they have. Best price I've found for it is at BestBytes for $2 per foot. I've heard that you can get the same stuff at an automotive supply store by asking for door molding, but I have yet to find any. Also check out this thread over at the hardforums, where there is talk of bolting a window in place. I have molding for my side window, but I'm going to bolt my top panel window. Just another idea for how to do it.

Looks like I'll be getting the stuff from Bestbyte.net (no "s" in there;))
I'll check at a hardware store and another auto body place tomorrow before going to Bestbyte though.

Jeff7, as long as you're going to do some retail checking before online ordering, you might consider checking out an auto-glass repair place. They work with glass/ they work with metal...I dunno, maybe... My window mod is this weekend so if you find some locally, let us know;)
