Been awhile since Ive built a system so not sure of operating temps. The cores seem to be running pretty cool on the chip. The case temp reading is registering at 90-97 F - Is this too hot? Maybe its just where the sensor is located in the case not sure.

I'm running

8800 GT SSC 512 700mhz -

Nothing is overclocked - I have used riva tuner to set the fans on the card to 50% lets that what riva is telling me.

Thanks in advance!

What were temps taken with?
Also please use Celsius when reporting temperatures.
So it's idling between 32C - 36C.

Also your video card is overclocked (factory that is).

The case temp is not very important, only if the cpu or gpu overheats, then it means that you have hot pockets of air inside and need better ventilation.

Soon as I get home I'll provide you the Motherboard readings - I know about older processors I feel it's running a bit on the warm side - But want to confirm my suspicions- before I go by a super heat sink.. I really think its the graphics card that is heating things up.
