Hello - I don't post much, but I am in need of some information. I plan to build an Athlon System pretty soon ... as soon as I get then money! heh . Well anyways I am looking for a good case perferably in the 50-60 dollar range. I'm not a big overclocker, but I am planning on modding the case to include a "window" and maybe a couple blowholes since systems run hot these days. I'd like it to be black in color, but it is not a must have thing as I can always paint it myself (ugh more work!), but having it black in color would save time. A couple cases I have been looking at:

I realise that the antec and the Fong Kai are out of the price range I mentioned above, but if I get an overal appeal for either of these I can save up a bit long - as the case is the most important part of your computer ;)

Remember, I am most likely going to mod this case to include a window, with some lights inside and possibly some blowholes. Noise isn't really an issue, but the quieter the better!

Also - if you dont mind a second question, what's the best way put a window with lights into a case?

Thanks in advanced its very much appriciated! Sorry for any grammer or mis-spellings as its 2:47am as I write this! No sleep can be a bad thing, mixed with a messed up election!

Hmm I wonder if the alien face works here -- we'll see

:Alien:
:Spin:

oh well if they dont work they don't work ;)

Thanks again, and I hope someone answers!

The sx1030 and sx830 are available from www.onvia.com for $90 and $80 with free shipping. The 1030sx is also available in black. Just do a search on www.onvia.com for sx1030 for white sx1030b for black or sx830. I don't think there is a black 830.

I think Antec SX830 is good because it have lots of ventilation and the hydraulic one can only fit one fan infront.

I love my Enlight 7237 with Enermax 330WATT power supply. The combo is a bit pricey, and I'm sure you can find the case alone for pretty cheap. The combo can be found at CompuCheap. If I was buying anything if I had the dough, I'd always buy from CompuCheap.

I am not sure about the others, but I know the sx1030 comes with 2 fans so it makes it more worth the money since you are already getting 2 fans extra. Say they are 7 bucks a piece making the price(from onvia) of the case around 76 bucks.
