I was just wondering if static electricity collecting on a case would be a problem. I've got a Suntek Vision Mid-tower case, which is a 'wannabe G3-a-like', manufactured in that plastic which they make clear rulers from (you know, the type that you rub on your hair to make it stand up).
Dust gets sucked up to the case plastic bits, indicating static buildup, and on one occasion I've got a very mild 'zap' from the case.
Could a significant charge buildup damage the components inside? It's cold and very dry here and static is always a problem.
