Case recomendation.....

I have a Lian Li case, I forget the model number but it's the one with the blue plexi swing open door on the front. When I put the side panel on I can hear the fans spool up because of the heat build up inside. It's a great case but it is very limited as to how many fans can be installed. Besides the PS I have 4 fans, two in the lower front, one rear and a blowhole on top all 80mm. I really like the brushed aluminum look but I'll go with anything that would provide better cooling options. Any recomendations?

Antec 900 for ultimate airflow. I own one, and 5 120mm fans plus a 200 mm fan aside from your PSU is unbeatable. Even with 8 fans in my system, it is still dead quiet. The case comes with 3 antec LED fans that are quiet on low, and I filled up the rest with yate loons.

Just looked at the egg's site and they have it for $119.00 + $15.00 shipping. It's also available at CompUSA here in town for the same price, no shipping just drive in and buy so tomorrow I'm off to CompUSA. Thanks.

google is your friend if you want to find stores with available Antec 900s in Jacksonville, FL....a simple search will get you far young one...

Bwahahaha!

Thank you, bro!

You dah man!!! 😀

If you want to keep the look and feel of your current case there many new Lian Li designs that incorporate 120mm fans. The PCA05, PC-7, and V-600 are good examples.

One caveat for the Antec 900, it is EXTREMELY cramped. I have 5 120mm, a Thermalright Ultra120 w/ Dual 120mm fans, and i'm installing a HR-05 SLI w/ 80mm fan and this case can be loud with all fans on silent.

Thats actually pretty cool the way you put the other HDD cage up on top. Didn't think of that 🙂 However, comming from a P-160 I can say this case is slightly smaller but nowhere near EXTREMELY cramped. I don't hear anything from the yate loons and low antecs in my case.

As for the OP, you should check the Hot deals thread. Frys had it for 50 dollars AR w free shipping until the ran out of stock. I got mine for 90 dollars after I price matched BB when compusa had it on sale.

Been working so haven't had time to go by CUSA until today. Looked at the Antec 900 and a few things I don't like about it. No slide out mobo tray and the drive bays aren't the tooless type. The fans are huge though. Doesn't look like there'd be any temp issues with that case. I think I may keep looking though. Thanks for your input.
