Case Reccomendations

I'd say that cooling is extremely important, as I will be doing some moderate to heavy overclocking. I'd like it to be fairly quiet. Lastly, as I will be attending LAN parties occasionally and using cool looking, high quality parts, a window would be nice.

So far I've seen mixed reactions to the P180. I like the idea that it is quiet and its great for cooling, but I've also heard its heavy and it also does not have a window. In this review anandtech gave it a silver rating. Text
In the same review, the thermaltake eclipse got the gold rating.

I still can't make up my mind... What does everyone think?

The Eclipse is certainly a well-designed case, but for style, it looks like someone pinned a coaster-CD on the front bezel.

I like the P180 for a mid-tower. I like the way they designed the drive cages for removal, and I could kick myself for throwing away parts similar to those they used, because it's a good idea for modding my old ATX full-towers.

yes the p180 is one heavy as case esp. once you've set everything up. At this point I'm sure you wouldnt wanna be lugging it around esp. to LAN parties. If you want quiet and suitable for carrying around, just get a mid tower case which is made of alluminium and has mounts for 120mm fans. So for you I think the P180 is out of the question, not sure about the thermaltake one though but if its alluminium and u like it then get it.

TT's Tsunami would suit you well. Great cooling, very light, roomy, widow. Just dont put a raptor in their HD cage/s or be prepared for extreme resonance thats beyond annoying.
