As a rule of thumb, don't buy cases with included power supplies because the power supplies tend to be ultra bad quality. You are right to be concerned about reliability, a truly good PSU will cost almost double what those case and PSU cost combined.

What components do you need to power?

Hi, I'm looking to build a gaming computer so i'm prioritising the vid card and processor over the psu etc. these are the components i'm currently looking at:

http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/processors/amdpiledriverfxam3plus/fd4300wmhkbox.html

http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/...ards/nvidiagtx750tiseries/n750ti-2gd5tlp.html

http://uk.crucial.com/gbr/en/memory...-_-uk&ef_id=VuSKSgAAAHj8x7Bd:20160412180743:s

Therefore I want the cheapest possible casing/psu/cooler to store these in, what do you think? (I know I will also need a hardrive, i'm looking into it, any ideas?)

Thanks

Go cheap on the case not on the PSU. It will not matter how amazing your vid/cpu are if your PSU is giving you grief. I know it is not the most glamorous of products, but you need a good stable PSU if you want a good stable PC.

go cheap on the case yes..
go cheap on the psu.. NEVER.

Its the single and only piece of equipment which is connected to everything in your computer electrically.

If your psu fries... it can take your entire computer with it.

If you want to know why buying a cheap PSU is bad, have a read at Johnnyguru.

He mostly gets sent the really nice/expensive GPU's, but his reviews on the cheaper ones can be interesting. Couldn't find the model of your PSU, but here is a typical cheap shocker that may be included.

This sites forums may be best for asking about a very cheap PSU that wont take your entire computer down with it.

If your trying to stretch your dollar/pound have you considered used? Grab a cheap new case and a decent new PSU. Then get a used CPU, GPU, RAM and mobo on ebay. If you buy a decent PSU it will last you forever, the PSU i just replaced was 10 years old and showed no signs on any issues what so ever.
