sheesh, i just got a spankin new sx1030 and i need to put a power supply in it. didnt really plan on having to buy a seperate power supply so i am not really sure now what to look for. from what i can tell by the forums and other reviews enermax makes really good ones, right? my friend keeps telling me to get one from pcpowerandcooling though. are they worth the extra money? and should i go for 400W or 350W? i'm pretty sure 350 will be more than enough..but.. and what is the difference between the EG365P-VE and EG365-VE-FC? like i said, never really had to think about power supplies before. also, my lil' sis needs a case. i would love for her to get another sx1030 but she says its too big:( any suggestions other than enlight 7237?
just looking for some opinions..
can ya help a jr member out?

The "FC" models have fan control, so the fans adjust speed to the temp in the case. Get the Enlight for your sister. And I would recommend a 400W Enermax (with or without FC, it depends on what noise level you want) for your system. The PC Power and Cooling are the best out there, but they are also really expensive. They aren't worth it unless you are running a really high end server or something.

350w should be enough for you, unless you're going to be overclocking a amd1.33ghz and using a lot of ide devices and case fans (400w is a lotta power). i would recommend enermax or antec power supplies. the antecs are a little cheaper because they have a second 92mm hot air intake fan like the enermax's have. but since you have the sx1030, you don't really need another fan to exhaust the hot air cuz you already have 2 fans in the back.
