Ok so i decided to purchase the Enermax Noisetaker 370w power supply with dual 12v rails and the Antec SLK3000B case, totaling just over $115 with shipping. What do you guys think? I'm looking for pretty quiet case and power supply, i should probably get a diff fan/heatsink for my proc as wel though, i'm going to wait and see on that one however.

If you want quiet, get a Seasonic 120mm-fan PSU. Recommended by Silent PC Review.

While you are at it, you might want to order some quiet case fans or fan controllers, a Zalman (7000 or 7700) or Thermalright (XP90 or 120) CPU heatsink, and a better/quieter HSF for that Radeon 9800.

Amazon has/had? the best price on the 3000-B, Provantage is next. The Meridian Tech XClio 450 from Newegg would have been a better value. Together would have been less than $105 shipped.

I wanted it by midweek and I got my products today (wednesday morning). The other sites would have taken weeks. It's the price you pay for convenience I guess. I'll set it up tonight, hopefully everything will be working ok and I'll let you guys know by the evening, hopefully

installed the power supply and case tonight, took me a while, it was my first case transplant ever. I'm glad i did it though, because when I upgrade motherboard and such it will be so much easier, and I won't have to get a new case. It's pretty quiet, at least compared to my HP machine. The cpu fan is still the loudest part of the pc, that can be easily fixed, but i'll wait until i buy a new cpu and motherboard. Newegg is the best ever

Sometimes a monitoring program is included with the motherboard... You might want to check the drivers CD that came with your mobo.

If not, get Alex Van Kaam's Motherboard Monitor.
