Hey guys, I'm still newb at building comps and was wondering on which direction do I plug these things to the mobo.

The plugs I'm talking about are the ones that are part of the Case and have labelings like HDD, Power, Reset, etc. Do the letterings face up toward the CPU or away? I don't have an extra power supply atm to test it with but it's on the way from newegg. My older computer rig I built myself have the letterings facing down or away from CPU and it is working fine. But someone I know said they typically should be facing toward the CPU. Maybe it doesn't matter?

New mobo/case:

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS3R
COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 CAC-T05-UW

Thanks for the help!

Look on the mobo, there should be a black + at the positive terminal for each of those plugs. On the case lead, most of them are colored, with the other lead(s) all being either white or black. The white or black is the ground, the colored lead is the positive. Line it up with the + on the board.

Check the motherboard manuel. That will tell you what pins are for what. Keep in mind the black and the white wires are the negative side. The only connections that have to be plugged in correcty with the negative and positive are the LEDs. The power and reset button done't have polarities that have to be matched.
