Case of the wandering weather widget?

I'm not sure if I'm the only one here to experience this oddity, but it has been happening consistently.

I've got the dashboard set up with several widgets, including the weather one that comes with the dashboard. I would configure it for my region, place it somewhere, and let it be.

What's strange is that after a while (hours, days, etc), I would notice that the weather widget has either moved up or totally disappear (moved up beyond screen space)! Anyone else notice this and/or have any info about it? Thanks

Mine does this whenever I attach an external display. I'm not sure why this happens.. maybe it's the transitioning of resolutions.

Huh, interesting. I forgot to mention I'm using the Macbook with OS X Leopard 10.5.5. I've never attached an external display to mine, so I know that's not related to this case.

It's just a pain having to reload another weather widget since the last one "walked" away from my screen
