Case model question

I was looking at ibuypower.com and they have a case in the front of the build it yourself section at the top that is red. What kind of case is that? It is also pictured in the main window at the end of the first part of it in silver. I am curious to know if anyone knows what case it is. It actually looks decent and was looking to read a review on it or see a price somehwere.

It'd be nice if you provided a link to the page - if that's too hard for you, then maybe you don't want an answer that badly. Looks like some Raidmax or other - cheap box.

.bh.

Common courtesy dude, if you're asking for help, make it as easy as possible for those who volunteer to help you.

That case looks similar to ones made by Logisys, but I couldn't find an exact match. Some larger builders have enough volume to specify what they want in a case so there is the possibility that you can only get that case from that company as part of a system. Newegg carries some Logisys.

I got ya. I didnt know how to link anything, but now I do.

I have been looking at cases, and came across this one:

link

And was wondering what SECC chassis was. Steel? Other than a weight difference between steel and aluminum whats the difference? I saw where temperature wasnt actually affected much in either type of case from a few reviews I found on the internet.

Yes, SECC means steel. Steel is stronger than aluminum, so if a direct material replacement is made (same design but with aluminum) the case may not have sufficient strength.

Good aluminum cases don't suffer from this problem.

I have been looking at these cases:

Shark

Eureka

810

The first two are aluminum and the last one is steel. I like big cases. I do not move the case much at all either so weight from moving it around is negligible.

Suggestions?

Those cases all should be nice. No further suggestions from me because I like cases with, ahem, less wasted space. Currently the biggest case I have is the one I use for my server, an AOpen A600B.

Thanks Zap. I did a search of the forums for cases and hit a few reviews on the 830, that looks really nice also.

I have the pc all picked out for parts now. I may just have to go with a 7900 GT Superclocked then wait for an upgrade if I choose to buy it all this weekend.
