Sorry if this has been asked but I don't have the time to read the thread of Case Mods since its way too long. What I want to do when I upgrade my computer is also mod my case. I'm looking at a window on the side of the case, lighting somewhere inside the case to make the whole thing light up at night.

Where can I find those lights? I'll also be wanting some cables with nice colors, I haven't tried it before so I don't know what colors look good, any advice is appreciated

Is there any kit I can buy with all this? Also, is there a way I can get LED lights somewhere near my fans so they look neat? I'm looking at putting in on a P4 cpu and an ATI 9700 or maybe 9600 card.

I'm going to also need some fans with lights.

One more Question, about how much heat does this add? I'm currently running only 1 intake fan and I don't know if there is a need for more or what.

Check out Frozencpu.com. They have all kinds of case modding stuff. I think they have reasonable prices too.

I like blue personally. (Put one of those blue 80 mm fans on the side on my case. Looks great)

What about any guides to doing this? I haven't ever really done case modding and don 't expect it to be hard but a guide won't hurt.

Google for a case window guide.
SVC for a cheap & reliable mod vendor.
Just get cold cathodes and skip all the leds. They are brighter and LED's don't 'flood' light, unless you want a 'track-lighting' effect.
Nothing you add should create any significant heat.
