Case Mod

I have just about finished my first case mod. I painted my case flat black and I saw somewhere that you should spray clearcoat on it. I have some spray Polyurethane that says it works on metal, will it work? Are Clear Coat and Polyurethane the same thing?

what kind of paint did you use?

did you pretreat the metal and plastic?

good paint interior and exterior doesn't need a clear coat

only if you want your machine to be shiney

a good paint application doen't need a clear coat

I used some flat black Interior & Exterior Rustoleom.

that's good paint but if applied to heavy it will clump more so than the cheaper paints

its good, better, for metals than plastics

but the plastics should be fine

I'm not painting any plastic, I decided to paint my case black and leave the front bezel white.
