Case Mod Tool of choice recommendations?

Newbie to the case mod world and would like to know people's opinion for the most versatile tool for case mod. So far, seems like the Dremel is the most popular tool.

I am hoping for a tool that can be applied to multiple case modifications, so that I don't go spend ANOTHER lump of cash.

btw...which model of Dremel is the way to go?

In my opinion, yes, but I havent tryed anything else. But you can do quite a bit of stuff with it.
