Case Mod: Paint - Help Needed

Thinking about picking up the Cosmos S to upgrade from a mid tower. If I do, I def want to paint the inside of the case.

From what I've read, the inside frame is pretty simple as it doesn't require much more than primer and spray paint.

If I do the interior, I'm not sure the bars and plastic on the front (the gray areas) would match up as well and I might be interested in painting them a dark gray. For anyone that has done this type of thing, how difficult is it to do? It doesn't need to be insane looking (ie. 100% professional) but I don't want it to look like bad either. I've read about wet sanding + buffing + wax type stuff after the paint job to get a great looking finish, but how would it look without those steps?

Sorry, I don't really know much about painting. Any information about the general process of painting plastic and aluminum exterior would be appreciated.

The one tip I can give is to be careful about what type paints you use with plastic. Some of the paints , mainly oils, can deform plastic.
