Case jack-screw standoff question

I'm talking about some type of Craftsman hex driver that will enable me to easily install/remove the jack-screw standoff screw. A friend of mine who I no longer talk to had this one particular hex driver but I don't recall exactly what size it was and if it was modified in order to do this. I tried bringing a jack-screw to my local Sears but was unable to find a driver that would fit this size.

If anyone knows, I'm all ears. Thanks.
 
Depends on the stand-off, but 99% of the time, I use a 3/16" nut driver (Craftsman actually)...

The rest of the time, I use a 5mm socket and one of those 1/4" socket driver handles (Craftsman too). 😀

5mm is a bit larger than 3/16", and between the two of them, they'll fit everything I work with!

Whatever you get, make sure it a 6-point socket...
 
There are several sizes of standoffs. Enlight used to use the same size as the screwdrivers that hold multiple bits - 1/4" hex. I think Antec does too. The ones I have here are 1/4", 3/16" and 5mm.
