Hey People...does anyone out there know of a solution for the following?

I have a customer who is an audiophile, he has over 4 terabytes of music. I need a case to house 10 hard drives and still have ample room in the box for cabling and such. Would also like to cool all these drives. What manufacturer (ANtec) or whomever makes a case like this?

Best bet is to purchase a case with at least 8 free 5.25" bays. You can fit five SATA disks in 3 5.25" bays with a mobile rack. Text

I'd use HDD bays. 2x5 HDD bays would do it and take only six 5.25 slots. Those often have their own cooling.
This or something similar would do it.
Stack those in CM Stacker and you shuld be good to go with plenty of room for expansion.

Budget/Noise Levels/Any other requirements?

The Lian-Li V2000B fits 10 in the bottom.
You could get a case like the CM Stacker and shove two 5 in 3 racks into the front bays.
Plenty of cases can fit 10 hard drives (with extra bays added) or even a server case (if he could fit it)

EDIT: DOH. I'm so slow.

Hello OP - Check the Rocketfish threads here - get a large Lian Li for a lot less bucks. Maybe you can sneak across the border and grab one...

Meh. 4TB is peanuts. Really easy to fill up with HD videos.

But... 4TB of music? That's a whole lot... :Q
