case fans

Can case fans be screwed in either way to serve as either an exhaust or intake fan? Could I position them so I have an exhaust in the back and an intake in the front of my case?

Yeah, you got it 🙂 Typically the air comes out the "strut side," the face of the fan that has struts supporting the motor. There are some fans out there that only have "ears" on one of their faces, but not many. Panaflo ring-cage FBL-series fans are the only one I can think of right off the top of my head.

another thing: case fans that are 3/4 pin can be plugged into either one. That is, they don't have to be plugged into both at once.
