i have a case that supports two fans in the back, one on the side and one in the front
currnetly i have it set up as the two back fans blowing air out and the side and front blowing air in.
is this the correct setup or shoud i change it?
also how do i reduce the amount of dust ( i herd of filters but what are they)?
and how do i clean the dust that has accumulated?

Thanks

Your airflow is fine. Invest in some fan filters like these here. You really only need them for the intake fans. I say this for the fact that you would like you exaust fans to be able to blow dust OUT of your case.
Remember to clean these filters. I clean mine about once every 1-3 months mostly because I forget about them :)

To clean you will want to either used compressed air or alcohol and a cloth. Compressed air works great but leaves a little film of dust. Alcohol and a cloth will remove all traces of dust. However it is one hell of a job to rub down each component and get in the cracks etc.

Keep an eye on this thread some other guys may have some better ideas.

Here's a few I've tested on an 80mm fan....

Case Filters

I'm using the power Care lawnmower filter...it keeps the dust out. The Briggs and Stratton works pretty well also, but is harder to mount.

Those foam filters keep bugs out....but the dust goes right through.

I use standard foam air conditioning filter from Home Depot for about $1.50 for a big sheet. I just cut it to fit and mount it on my intake fans. This has served me well, as I have hardly any dust inside my PCs at all (except my one that has a missing drive bay cover, but a new one is coming soon).
