case fans? AC/DC?

If you really wanted to, you could find a 120v AC fan and put it in your case, plugged into the wall... but I don't think it's worth all the potential for extra noise and more things to plug in. Case fans = DC.

I have a 120mm fan that is AC. It was designed for a server rack but fit perfectly in my 120mm hole in my case. I plug it into the outlet and it blows like a turbo prop.

I use AC 120mm fans wired into a switch box with the pump for my water-cooling projects.

Fans and pump can continue to cool the system after I shut it down.
