Case Fans 120x25

My Coolermaster case has a aluminium holder in which to place a 120x25 size fan into it, which kind of limits me, because I'd like to get a stronger fan, then which is in the x25 range.

Seems the stronger fans are in the 120x35 size that start hitting in the 100cfm range.

I was surfing yesterday and was trying to find something for the x25 width at 100cfm or a bit higher.

Does anyone know of any strong 100cfm or higher fans in the 120x25 size?

THANKS

I have not seen any Deltas in 120x25 that are stronger then your typical 120s.

NO, I need a URL pointing to one that is a 120x25 size, I've been up and down all over the web looking and I have only seen this one by Sunon for the size I need:

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/...product_info&cPath=49&products_id=3184

But it shows it at 90cfm and I would like something stronger.

I need to see some URLs please if anyone knows of a stronger 120x25

Here is the biggest selections of Deltas I have found and nothing there:

Everything in the 100cfm and up seems to be in the 120x38 size 🙁

THANKS

Nah it doesn't show the actual CFM, just some cheap talk, lol, no telling, it's probably pretty standard.

Throwmeabone, yeah well the thought of my two 7800gts running in SLI, frying from the heat makes me cringe even more, hehe 😉

This is the best this haole can come up with for the Island Boy 😉

Bottom of the page. The Nidec 92x25 on the next page is a good one, read the spec.
The Delta 60x10 on offer will run near silent at 5V.
I'm not selling this stuff, but just thought I'd add what I know for a fact.

The NMB has a hub mounted thermistor that will have to be solder jumped, should be no problem
to crush the thermistor, clean the metal ends, then jump with a dot of solder.
Says it's good for 119cfm. NMB is decent name in fan providers. I have noticed, by testing,
that when thermal fans are jumped to run as a normal fan, they do undervolt very well.

High speed fans have a loose bearing fit and stronger magnets, this will lead to clicking
when undervolted.

If you do buy this NMB, PM me to let me know how it works out, as I might buy a few myself.
The DTB 120x38@147cfm is a clicking beast when undervolted. It will start/run at 4V in
near silence but once at 5V it clicks like mad and doesn't clear till 11V.
Wanna buy it 😀 Mod it to fit.

If you're that concerned about your graphics cards, get a couple of Arctic Cooling VGA Silencers. They'll do a LOT more toward cooling your cards than an 120mm fan at the back of your case (unless you're talking about some sort of VGA duct fan).

Thanks GalvanizedYankee, I have a 25mm sleeve that the fan has to be mounted into, so it only leaves me with using 120x25 size fans and I want something at least 100cfm, so I don't see anything there.

pkrush well I was considering using the Arctic Cooling VGA Silencers but I'm running SLI and there is not much room between the cards so I'm not sure how well it will work.

Actually I see some of the Arctic Cooling listed for SLI, I'll definitely look into buying one.

The Accelero X1 looks like the ticket 😉

I found some reviews on it:

You could remove the sleeve, in most cases they are simple fittings to take off. Then you can ziptie the fan in place using the old mounting holes.

I found one 25mm delta, but it was a low powered one (oxymoron anyone?), the accelero X1 looks mediocre, the AC silencer at least exhausted the hot air, which made a massive amount of difference to my computer's internal temperatures with a single 7800GT. Having another card so close will restrict the air intake, but it will still work alright (i did a test), especially if you're willing to turn up the fan speed.

That's a 118cfm NMB fan I linked. The thermistor just has to be jumped. I doubt you will
find better for less than that NMB.

Google Zalman VF900. It should be hitting the streets real soon. It's a one slot solution.

A peek. http://www.matbe.com/divers/zoom/zalman-vf900-3/000000025743.jpg/
