Case fan wires

I have a case fan from an old Dell. It has four wires: red, black, blue and white. Can anyone tell me which wires are hot, neutral and ground?

I'm working on a DIY project related to homebrewing (http://byo.com/stories/projects-and-equipment/item/398-build-your-own-stir-plate). It has nothing to do with computers, but it does involve modifying a case fan.

Assumption your looking at this:

black.. (-)
Red.. (+)
White... (RPM Sense)
Blue (PWM Sense)

You can ignore the blue and White wire.. attach a 12V DC Adapter to the black and red wire.

If you get the + and - mixed up, dont freak out... the fan will just spin backwards lol..
Change to proper layout and it should spin in the proper direction.

CAUTION... Some Dell Fans are very high speed fans... be VERY CAREFUL of your fingers as it can cut you good..

That's exactly what I'm looking at. I will be using 5V DC, but it should do the trick. Thanks for the injury tip.
