Case Fan wire problem..

I got a case fan with 2 fans..
This one.
If u look closely, u can see like a fan behind the unit. The thing is there is a small
connector coming out of there with only a female 2pin end. The fan is spinning
so i don't think its a power cable..i think its the "rpm signal connector". My question is
how or where do i plug this in?...do i need a special adapter or something?...

The RPM sensor wire should have 2 wires, but be a 3 pin fan plug. This is likely what you are talking about. It isn't necessary to use, but as you probably know, plugging it in will able you to monitor the speeds of your PSU fan. You can plug this into any 3 pin male fan header on your motherboard. You would then use a program like Motherboard Monitor 5 to watch it, your temperatures, and other things.

If it is really only 2 pin, than I am not sure. Sorry. Maybe that wire is still RPM sensing even though it isn't the right connector?
