Case Fan Placement

Hey all,

I currently have an HTPC in a Silverstone ML03B case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811163174

Due to the wife, I had to relocate from the top of our entertainment center to the top shelf. Since moving to the shelf the CPU fan runs alot harder. I purchased 4 80mm case fans and would like some help on the placement. This case only has spots for the fans on the righthand side(facing the front of the case). Should I place all fans blowing into the case or 2 blowing in and 2 blowing out? I cannot fit these on the other side unless I drill some holes which I wouldnt really mind and nothing can fit in the back. The CPU is right next to where the fans will go with a stock heatsink and fan.

Any insight would be appreciated thanks.

Try two fans blowing air out of the case. All four 80mm fans might be loud.

I agree. The CPU and GPU (if applicable) is going to pull air from any openings in the case, so the goal of your fans on a case like that would be to get the hot air out.
