Case Fan Blowing Which Way?!

Hey all, I've got a quick and pretty dumb question. I have my computer with pretty much no cooling right now. I have my vpu fan and my cpu fan and thats it. (i have a cappy stock power supply which is not dual fan or anything like that). I picked up a 9600 pro the other day and decided i shoudl buy a case fan too. So I have 1 case fan, should it be blowing air into the computer, or out of the computer, I have no clue!

Thanks!

Location, location, location.

Best place to put it if you have no extra fans would be in the provided slot just below your PSU, blowing outward. Next one goes on the lower front panel, blowing inward.

Definitely make it an intake fan. You already have at least some exhaust airflow from your PSU fan. It's best to try and match your intake and exhaust flows as close as possible.

the only place to put it would be in the back as opposed to it being on the side. I have a crappy case wiht only a couple of fan spots. So if it's in the back of the case should it blow into the case or out of it? Thanks!

put in in the back blowing out. it works the best.

don't trust me? get a temp moniter and check it yourself. i had 2 case fans and i tried all orientations. put 2 on the back works best.

go ummm get more fans?

lol. I just have 1 case fan and it can only fit in the back. I'm not going to buy more fans, and i'm not going to drill holes in the sides or front of the case for more fans. 🙂
