Ok I'm upgrading my computer with the following pieces:

Asus A7M266 Mobo
Athlon 1.33 or 1.4 GHz
Crucial DDR 256MB

My case <currently> only has one case fan on it and no places for anymore fans. I'd like to avoid cutting into the case (mostly b/c of my lack of tools to cut the metal). For the CPU I was thinking of going with a Glaciator, I don't plan on OCing so I think this should be a decent fan. Without OCing should I still use thermal grease like Arctic Silver? Anyone have experience wtih the Glaciator? I've never installed one of these either, are there any good sites explaining how to do it without breaking the CPU.

Second question: How well do those fans that are placed in card slots work? I figure by putting one of those under the video card that would help eliminate some heat.

If I did need to make some holes in my case to put in more fans can anyone reccomend a good site explaining how to do it?

Thanks for any help, its been a while since I've gotten into computer upgrade stuff again. :D

2cooltek has all your needs. Also has HOWTO's on cutting up a case.

Glaciator should be fine and by all means DO put some sort of thermal compound on. Probably doesn't need to be Arctic Silver, but you NEED something.

Yes, those PCI slot fans help a little.

good luck.
