Case Cooling Question?

I was looking at my case the other day and i noticed that there are many little spaces in the case where air can escape and i wondered if i made my case fully airtight and just let the intake fan and the exhaust fan bring air in and out make my case's ambient temp cooler: What do you think?

Unless the holes are huge, generally it won't make a real difference in creating a smoother flow. Or at least that i what I think. Besides, there are tons of spaces between drives, faceplates, and even the drawers in the cd-roms. Unlesss you have a tiny case is tons of hot equipment, you probably won't notice anough of temp difference to make it worth the extra work.

I made my case as air tight as possable . One, I was tired of all the dust that was getting sucked in through all the little spaces between drives. The other reason was for sound, less noise from air being pulled through these holes. My system temp dropped a liitle(about 2c). I asked around and it was suggested that due to less inteference to the designed air flow, I was getting better ventilation, ie the exhaust fans are removing the air from the case more effiently because they are not wasting engery pulling air in, which the intake takes care of.
