Case Cooling Fans - Recommendations Plz

Hey All,

I have an Enermax case and would like to get some really quiet fans for it.

Recommendations?

If you're a euro, Pabst, in the US it's Panaflo.

What size fans are you looking for? I highly recommend the Panaflow L1A 80mm ones for use as case fans.

Are you saying that if he wants bigger than 80mm there's something better than Panaflo? If so, please tell us what it is. I'm just short of replacing two rattly, single ball 120mm's.

I just installed a 120mm Panaflo from frozencpu.com into my server (Antec 4U case). Oh my god, nicest fan I've ever had the oppurtunity to own.

I've been all giggly with the performance of the 2 80mm Panaflo's I have too. frozencpu.com is where I got them strangely enough. I wish all online stores were as cool as them and newegg. :beer:

No, I was just wondering what size he had in mind. If it's 120mm, then I don't know which model Panaflow to recommend to him. If it's 80mm, then go with Panaflow L1A.

There are some new Panaflow w/ hydro bearings. I plan on trying these soon. I saw them at cooltek.com

What's different about these?

There rpm sensing & have hydro bearing. They claim to be a balance between noise & performance.

All Panaflo fans have hydro-wave bearings. The L1a comes in 60, 80, 92, and 120mm sizes.
