I am trying to find a way to cool down my processor, because it's running at 48 degrees celsius, and I want to overclock my 1.2GHZ processor to 1.33GHZ, but not with it running this hot. I was thinking that maybe my case heat is the culprit, but it's only running between 19 degrees and 22 degrees celsius which I don't think is to bad, but anyway. I have one case fan in the front thats blowing air in, and then one smaller case fan in the back blowing air out. I am going to add a 80mm fan to the side of the case to blow air over the motherboard, or would it be better to have it blowing air out of the case? My heatsink is a Taisol CGK742092 with a Delta 21CFM (stock) fan and aritc silver II applied to it. The resto of my system is as follows:
1.2GHZ T-Bird (9x133) Class "B" Processor
MSI K7T Turbo Motherboard
512MB PC133 CL2 RAM
Toshiba SD-M1502 16x/48x DVD-ROM
Plextor Plexwriter 16/10/40A
Elsa Gladiac Ultra
SB Live! 5.1
IBM Deskstar 75GXP 45GB UDMA100 7200 RPM Hard Drive
and my case is a silver hydraulic case exactly like the ones that Alienware uses. I have a 300W Athlon approved power supply. Any help would be appreciated, because I want this to be as cold as possible, if I need to add fans, ducts, whatever, I'll do it. Thanks.
