I did some searching but there's no straight answer to the question. The motherboard manual (page 25) lists "NC" for pin 3 and "+5V" for pin 4. I just need to know which one to plug the MicBias cable that's running from the front panel of my case into so that I don't fry the board.
I think that I should plug it into the +5v, or pin 4. Am I correct? My concern comes from S0Y73NTGR33N's comment in this thread:
"Mixing up mic-bias and mic power or something like that on my ASUS k8vse-dlx. Hello smoke... goodbye motherboard."
