You can use the fan grilles as a template, or for a 120mm fan a cd is just the right size.

While we're dealing with case blowholes, I'm planning on putting two 92mm (maybe 120mm) fans on the side of my case. I'm sure this has been explained several times, but which way should the fans be facing? Both intake? Or one intake and one outtake? I hear that if you have one intake and one outtake, you create hotspots since you draw out the air you just drew in. But then, having two 92mm intake sounds like I'll have MUCH more cfm intake than out. Any suggestions?

Here is a pretty good and entertaining article about blow holes.

In an ideal situation you want equal CFM in vs out. My suggestion is to have those two fans blowing in, and then create a large blow hole on top to let the hot air rise out. Read the article linked above to see what I mean. Good luck with that lawnmower! Hope this helps fellas. :p
