I have a TUF gaming x570 wifi plus AMD board newly installed in an Ethnoo 719. The connectors on the board have me baffled. I have 4 3.0 type a and one 3.2 type C on the front panel and want to max out speed.

I RTF the manual which isn't much help. Do I need a PCI card? How many internal connectors? Recommendations?

Me = clueless and all the 3.? nomenclature is confusing.

Pages 1-2 through 1-3 (and 1-12 through 1-13) show what connectors you would plug your case's front panel USB cable into.

They are designed to only be able to be inserted into a particular slot (look at the pin holes on the bottom of the cables).

Looks like your motherboard doesn't have the correct header for front panel type-C, so you would need a PCIe board for that.

Your chosen motherboard only has one available header which will support two of the four front panel USB3.0 ports (it is the one circled at the top of @UsandThem 's picture above). The two USB headers in the center of the red circle at the bottom of @UsandThem 's picture above are for USB2.0 ports, not USB3.0, and will thus not work for connecting any of your front panel connectors.

What this means is that your motherboard is only able to connect two of the four USB 3.0 front panel ports of your case and will not support connecting the USB-C front panel port at all.

To connect them all, you will have to resort to add-in USB3 PCIe cards with internal headers (you'd need one with both a USB3.0 header and a USB3 type C header, or two cards with one of each).

EDIT:
Something like this would allow you to connect the four USB 3.0 front panel ports, but will not connect the USB-C port:

Then, to connect the USB-C port, you'd need an adapter for the motherboard USB 3.2 gen 1 header like this (note: if you use this type of adapter, do not use the front panel USB-c port to charge anything):

Thanks for the responses. I've ordered both parts. I've got this case configured for lots of storage and plan to hold onto both the case and MB or some years.

Thanks again.

Note that you will only get 5gbps speed from your type-c connector using an adapter like that, not the top rating of 10gbps

True, but you aren't likely to find an adapter anywhere that will get you the full 10gbps anyway. You might be able to find a PCIe adapter, but then you'd be using both of your PCIe 1x slots.
