finally got me some of that corsair cas2 150 Mhz overclocking mem, but there is a problem :
if I change the latency in my bios from 3 to 2 the pc hangs, nothing can be done !
On cas 3 everything works fine, I'm sure it is CAS2 mem so what is the problem ?
(yes, I tried it with 4-way dram interleaving on and off --> same thing )
please help :(

pc133 cas3

it even can't run cas2 at pc100, so what can you expect?

So what do you mean ?
I finally buy that expensive memory (from Corsair) CAS 2 150 Mhz, and it won't run at CAS2 ??!!

Maybe test it in another machine at CAS2. Memory are not that hard to take over to a friend's place to test out anway. Could also try backing down that OC on your CPU and try again at CAS2. Failing that I think you can take it back as it didn't work as advertised!!

I never bothered with cas 2 timings because i always buy the cheapest ram possible.

Last night I said what the hell, the worst that can happen is I lock up or get some instability.

Well, no problems what so ever. My Q3 bench went from 80 fps to 87 fps! a 9% increase :Q

I run 2 sticks 128 pc-133 @112 fsb, one I bought off of some web site for $25 bucks, the other I got free with a Harddrive I bought. Go figure.....
