What is this all about? I know that it is ram related but that's it.

I've got pc100 ram store said it was name brand but not sure now is there a wasy to find this out?

and how do you all get that cas setting? Heres a link to my mobo specs if that helps:

YES I knew that much...lol but how to do it is different story!

seti people talk about a program and i can't member what it was called:confused:

Regardless of the brand name, if it's PC-100 ram, run it at 2-2-2 if you're not taking the FSB beyond 100. Past that, you'll probably have to run it at 3-3-3.

It's in the bios setup under Advanced Chipset Options. You may not necessarily see a line to set the memory timings to 2 or 3, it might give you memory timing option of Normal or Turbo. This is the same as 3 or 2.

check for something that says latency or something to that nature, the setting should be a 2 or a 3, if it is at 3 then change it to 2.
