CAS latency.

I have 256 megs of PC133 RAM, in a 2x64(the 64 Dimms are 100MHz o/ced to 133) + 1x128 (PC133) configuration, and Im asking what could happen if I set the latencies faster than what the RAM comes with (3-3-3 is default).
What is the worst thing that could happen and what are the risks of doing this?

Thanks

Probably the worst thing that will happen is that you won't be able to boot up properly. I'm willing to bet you though that you won't be able to go past CAS3, not with the CAS3 PC100 overclocked to 133 already.

The worst thing that could happen is your motherboard could catch on fire. :Q Ok so thats about a 1 in 3billion chance but hey he asked what was the WORST thing that could happen. 😀

it could start a subparticle chainreaction with atoms in air, creating a chain reaction that destroys whole universe.

actually, nothing will happen and most brand name pc133 rams will do cas 2 fine.
