"CAS latency 2,2.5 (clock)" - Should I use 2 or 2,5 in the BIOS

Hi

I have a 256 MB DDR memory module (ECC + registered) from TwinMos. The shop where I ordered it said CL 2.5, but the sticker on the module says CL 2. And the TwinMos home page says "CAS latency 2,2.5 (clock)", as you can see here. So which CL setting should I use in the BIOS? I have tried CL2, and it seems to work OK, but still it would be nice if someone could explain the matters to me.

I apologize if this question is off topic in the motherboard section, but there seems to be quite a few memory related threads here, so I found no better place (or perhaps I should have used the "General Hardware" forum?)

Thanks in advance for your help😕

CL2 gives you lower latency access to the memory ,if your machine is stable at 2 then leave it at that ,it'll be slightly faster🙂
