cas 2 or cas 3

OK I think I have straightened out my question. Currently I am Upgrading my p4 3.2 CPU to a new motherboard the asus P4800SE. I have 2 Gigs of pc3200 400mhz Patriot CAS 3 RAM that I used in the OLD mobo MSI PT880 .

Now the question. Should I splurge for CAS 2 or stick with CAS 3 RAm, now that I have a better MOBO. Will there be a noticeable difference in performance/ SPEED ...if not then I will just stick with cas 3. I have another computer I can put that CAS 3 ram in, so I have an ok excuse to buy new ram.

Details are, I use an ATI 9550 card in a ANTEC Sonata 380 watt case with the P3.2 in question. I am not a big gamer, but I do like to have stuff streaming, while playing with photoshop, while surfing the internet all at once.
Any and all suggestions welcome.
Thanks,
JW

I asked this question because I have searched the forum and cannot find if there is a significant difference in CAS 2 and CAS 3 or not. If there is already a discussion on this, just let me know. I just don't know the answer.
