Carson Daly

Conky

Lifer
Am I going to have to see this ass-face on New Years until the day I die?

I bet, despite being probably 10 years older than he is, that I will outlive him. 😛

It really is too bad that Dick Clark suffered from those strokes. However, I'm hoping that Dick Clark sticks around for at least a little while longer... I really don't like Carson.

Yep, what happened to Dick Clark was sad as hell. I think we all wanted that fvcker to live forever. Can't say the same for old Carson...

What's up with Carson Daly? I've seen him on TV and that guy is just not funny. How'd he get his own show?

More like............."How'd he get ANYWHERE???"

He's a nobody.........an absolute ZERO!!!!

I don't know where this guy came from. I CERTAINLY don't know how he was doing TRL on MTV......(talk about average terd hosting a contemporary show like TRL)........and having his own show is just unbelievable.

I'm thinkin' he was like a "network handpuppet" ***OR*** somebody owed somebody a HUGE favor.

Either way...........I just think he needs to go away.

Also.........to add another voting option to the poll............Ryan Seacrest is the next Dick Clark. Not that I think he's a good replacement, just that he is the pretty obvious choice by every network in the U.S. (Fox, ABC, Clear Channel, Top 40, etc. etc. etc.)

The guy is all about being nothing. It's amazing actually, lol

how is carson daly still employed? didn't he get fired from trl for being too old like 10 years ago?
I will never understand why that guy has a job from day to day.

Much the same as I don't understand why Jamie Kennedy has a job.

WTF? Maybe I should enter showbidness... I swear to Jesus and Allah above that I couldn't be as lame as any of these buttknuckles, lol.

No. Ryan Seacrest is. He's taking over for Dick Clark. Carson Daly is on NBC.

Aye. Ever since Dick Clark had his stroke, Ryan Seacrest has been doing most of the New Year's Eve show. My guess is that he'll be the man once Dick passes away.

Ryan Seacrest could take over, but even Seacrest will not have the staying power of Dick Clark. I wish Ed McMahon would host the New Years Eve show.

Don't ever compare his poser quality with Dick Clark. Dick Clark was classic, Carson Daly is just a popularity whore.

If it ever becomes a choice between Daly and Seacrest someone give me a gun.

Are you kidding? World News Tonight?

I think Peter Jennings just rolled over a few times.

No, he doesn't have the voice. Being an anchor(or Dick Clark) requires a very specific kind of authoritative voice, a combination of age, confidence, and stone-cold charisma. Neither Seacrest or Daly have it, at the very least they're both too high pitched.
