Are there any cars you sometimes pass by and think to yourself "I'd love to have one of those just to drive around for fun sometimes" but you'd never actually pay money for one of them?

'80's Toyota Corolla GTS
Mitsubishi Starion
Isuzu Conquest
Fiero Fastback GT
'80s MR2
Celica Supra
Camaro Iroc Z
Isuzu Impulse

Well, I sort of mean the kind of cars that if you were looking for a car to buy, you wouldn't buy these cars...but you'd like to drive them if they were free.

I want one of those 60mpg hybrid things. Save some in gas, but they've probably got expensive, specialized parts, so your repair bills would be ridiculous - and the car itself is expensive.

What I would want as a weekend "toy car": One of these babies!

OK so you don't pass by them all to often as they really are very rare, the engine is not that powerful and their electrical system is more unreliable then that of any recent Volkswagen - which is pretty bad. But still... it just looks awesome - to me at least.

Daily driver for me though would be a loaded Jaguar XJ. I just love cats - especially those that purr with a V8 ;)

Infiniti G35. Seems like a sweet car, but I think it's ugly as sin. Still, if given one for free I'd probably be ecstatic.

Exactly... Notice I picked somewhat ugly cars, they're just very unique that it makes them cool

I've read that they don't get anywhere close to what the sticker says. Many people are very disappointed.

Don't they also have batteries that need to be replace like every 4 years and cost like $2000 to replace?

This doesnt justify the cost, but most people rid of their cars after 4 years. If not 4 years, than certainly by 8 years.

BTW, hmm id have to say an RX-8
