Hell ya, you can get used spec V or SE-Rs for $12,500 and they'll have more power than anything you listed unless you get a chipped VW

 
i'm guessing the jetta would be a 2.0, which is NOT a quick car by any stretch of the imagination. the MK4 vw's have their share of problems, and you should research that first before you buy.
 
Thanks guys. The Corolla S looks like it would probably be around 15 for it. I would probably consider that or a Jetta. I was looking for used Proteges and there is not one used MP3 version. That car is 1337. 😛
