When is a new corvette body style due? It feels like they have been running this one for a while

Best guesses right now are introduction as a 2013 model year late in 2012. Lighter, less displacement, same power output is the rumor. The "C7" is supposed to be more evolutionary than revolutionary and focus on quality and interior.

There's been some whispers that it's meant to be a very short generation with the C8's being a new design 2-3 years after.

Still all conjecture at this point though.

major disagree on all of the 90s japanese cars except maybe an nsx, supra TT and s2k. The rest all look too old already.

I was going to post the McLaren F1 but forgot. It really is timeless. The styling doesn't seem dated to me at all. Could be because it's so functional.

Timeless=ability to own and drive by regular people, supercars aren't timeless, you might as well post concepts, you wankers lack taste.

I'm not sure any supercar can qualify for this. Of course a car that cost $200K is going to be treasured (Save the abandoned XJ220!). Some may age more gracefully than others but for the most part anything in that price range is going to be rare & desirable forever.

Viper GTS
I really thought about excluding super cars, but then I thought "well, there are super cars that went out of style as soon as they're made"...

Some maybe collectibles, but generally not for their styling.

Wow, like 3-4 disagrees on the trans am pic? Very surprising...guess my tastes are very different than most here, as I feel pretty much every BMW from 90's up until 2005-2006 are absolutely hideous (and even on new ones, interior is still terrible).

To each their own I guess...

I'm surprised that only one other person thought the Mk4 Supra would be on the list. I have never been a fan of BMW styling.

from dictionary.com:

time·less ['tahym-lis] – adjective

1. without beginning or end; eternal; everlasting.
2. referring or restricted to no particular time: the timeless beauty of great music.
while i agree that many cars posted in this thread are not timeless (let alone cars that were conceived and put into production within the last 20 years like the thread title requires), you can't even grasp the definition of timeless. a timeless automobile is one that does not look like its from the future, does not look like its from the past, never appears outdated, and does not appear to be from any particular time era in general.

you posted pictures of an old ass Saab. while the thread title doesn't require that the cars in this thread be beautiful, it does require that the cars in this thread to have acquired stylish status sometime in the past and, still maintain it. and while style may be subjective, its highly debatable that the Saab you posted pictures of was ever in style to begin with. one thing's for sure - that Saab is anything but timeless - its painfully obvious via the styling ques that it is a production car of the past. whether you feel inclined to retract your previous submission, i don't know...but at least now you know what "timeless" means...

Bad pic? Even I think that TA doesn't look good. Need black wheels.

This is almost identical to how mine looks, except mine is a lot dirtier atm lol.

Holy cow, that thing is almost 20 years old now and it STILL looks as awe inspiring as it did when it was released.

*jaw drops*

Totally forgot the F1 was so old..

/thread...seriously.

If we're not doing supercars though, then...

E39 M5

Gotta be one of the most graciously aging cars.

Doesn't matter what year it is. People see you driving that thing and they know something is wrong with you.

Absolutely hideous. I cannot imagine engine overheating like mad when racing in that car. Oh, and it has a stupid live rear axle.
