Car's power windows stopped working today

Just started my new job 3 weeks ago and I have to use the windows to hand my pass to the security guard at the gate to get onto the complex.

on the way home, I stopped by the mall and noticed that when I started my car back up my windows didn't work anymore along with my power seats.

1988 Volvo 760turbo 88.5K miles

I might take it to the mechanic tomorrow, but if it is something small I can do myself, I'd rather do that.

I was thinking of buying a new car, but I can't really afford it until later on in the year.

Checked fuses, not the fuses. I have the smart fuses that light up when they break.

If you lost power windows and power seats, then there could also be a problem with the switch control box. Are the window and seat switches in the same place? If they are attached to the same control box, then a failure in that control box might be responsible. But hopefully it's a simple fuse issue. I doubt it's a localized issue to the windows or the seats.

no, the windows are on the door and the seat controls are to the left of the seat.
